其实，06年墨西哥导演阿方索·卡隆的《人类之子》里有两个长镜头才真是匪夷所思。敦刻尔克大撤退的这个运动长镜头有5分半钟，而02年俄罗斯导演亚历山大·索科洛夫的《俄罗斯方舟》全片只有一个镜头，却长达90分钟–一个关于俄罗斯的百科全书般的长镜头。它们也都是值得称道的。

太好了,什么软件?
我现在用的是他们学校的免费杀毒软件Symantec AntiVirus,好象比我原先用的瑞星好,但这里的老师说因为是免费软件,也不是非常好

康兄，抱歉才回信。最近我的电脑染上严重的病毒，每天杀几次，每次杀上万个病毒，最后彻底崩溃，只好再重装，丢了一些文件，春节是在水深火热中度过的。
我还得上两门课，都用英文，备课很忙，同时还得替孔子学院做事，还得认识许多新人，与他们交往，加上因为不熟悉，每做一件事几乎都要付出两倍的力气，天天觉得很累。
不过我边上就有Detroit Institute of Arts，里面还有毕加索、米罗、凡高、康定斯基的真品，还有当代艺术家的作品，非常棒

Congrong Xiong, that’s okey. I thought maybe you would be interested in those events, so you can write something about them, or just make some eyewitness’ notes for yourself. I didn’t konw you’re so busy. Look at me, sitting in a tiny room on another continent, like a silly frog, watching and listening and reading the politic game thousands miles away. Is it odd and funny? Yes, maybe no, we always care about what we do not have.

Atonement is not a very good film, you can buy a DVD when you come back. I know in America, the Great Fire Wall also exist (hehe), but inside campus, it should be easier.

I know your feelings, food, friends, family, and, especially, baby. My God!

Take care yourself, and don’t work too hard. In Chinese: you zhe dian.

Hay Kang Xiong, I am sorry that I did not write anything on the general election, for I am too busy with my classes here and, besides, I find it is impossible to force myself to pay attention to such a boring thing. Only when talking with people here, I was told that most of them were not interested and the result had nothing to do with their votes. It will be dicided by the electoral college and who knows who is in the electoral college.

I miss China and Chinese things very much. I do not like to live abroad.
